Free Audio Converter allows you to convert your audio files between the most popular audio formats. Among the ones this tool supports for both the input and the output are MP3, WAV, WMA, Ogg, and M4A. Besides, the program was designed to behave like a wizard, which makes things much easier. This is definitely one of the simplest audio converters ever.

Free Audio Converter offers you a practical and functional user interface. Basically, it converts your audio files in two steps. The first step allows you to create your conversion list by adding all your source audio files. As you can deduce, the program supports batch processing, thus allowing you to add multiple audio files for conversion. Once you have created your conversion list, you can click on the "Next" button to go to the second step. There you can set your output folder and the output format. Then you will need to select one of the presets available, from a list that varies depending on the output format selected. Unluckily, the program does not allow you to tweak the advanced parameters of the output format to fine-tune your results.

Finally, you can press the "Convert" button to start the conversion process. In general terms, this process is fast and yields high-quality results. Free Audio Converter allows you to see the log information generated during the conversion process, and to play back any file on your conversion list using your default media player.
